Guy DeCarlucci is an attorney and certified public accountant, and a managing member and co-founder of the ZDA Law Group.  He has practiced law for over twenty years and has been a licensed public accountant for over twenty years. Guy has served as a general counsel for one of the largest independent academic physician practices in the country and was a fifteen-year member of a prominent Charlotte, NC-based law firm.  Guy has advised clients on business, corporate and legal matters primarily in the health care industry. His practice is focused on regulatory compliance, managed care contracting, reimbursement, corporate governance, transactional matters, and billing, coding and reimbursement issues. 

 

Formerly, he was credentialed as a Certified Coding Specialist – Physician-Based (CCS-P via AHIMA) and a Certified Management Accountant (via IMA).  He co-founded a medical billing company, which was later sold to a medical billing company consolidator, and has served in the roles of director of reimbursement, compliance, and managed care contracting, and managerial roles in reimbursement, coding and revenue cycle management at nationally recognized faculty practice plans.

Guy is a graduate of Penn State University and Duke Law School.  Before obtaining his degrees, he served on active duty in the United States Army and was commissioned through officer candidate school.
